The build centered around creating a cutting-edge, multifunctional AV studio tailored for Horizon’s all-in-house production needs. We envisioned a space that could flex between livestream broadcasts, podcasting, and immersive hybrid events—all under one roof. Our goal: deliver a dynamic, future-proof studio environment with cinematic flair.
We designed sleek, modular layouts featuring a large LED backdrop, overhead grid lighting, and retractable acoustic panels. Every element—from cable raceways to mic boom mounts—was carefully integrated for optimal performance and aesthetic unity. The color palette embraced neutral tones with customizable RGB accents for mood transitions between recording formats.
Our technical team handled full installation:
Built out a 25-ft LED wall with media server integration.
Installed a motorized three-zone lighting grid for flexible ambience.
Deployed broadcast-grade audio infrastructure (sound-proofing, Dante network, mixer, lavalier + boom mics).
Set up a 4K multi-camera array with shading control and live production switcher.
Implemented real-time streaming, cloud-based recording, and remote guest intake.
We began by benchmarking media studio trends, touring broadcast hubs, and interviewing Horizon’s creative team. This informed our decisions on workflow layout, acoustic treatment, and gear spec—maximizing usability without compromising aesthetics.
